RAIN CAME, AND THEN SHADOWS
An Irish woman living in Australia has become disconnected from the world around her. Through dreams and memories, she attempts to connect once more to a feeling of home.

“An Irish woman living in Australia has become disconnected from the world around her. Through dreams and memories, she attempts to connect once more to a feeling of home.”
“Rain Came, and then Shadows” is a story about home. What it means; and how does someone regain that sense of “home” after being away for so long.
This film was shot both in Melbourne, Australia and in Ireland with respect to the Director’s cultural heritage. An intricate studio set build of a bleak, thematic bedroom was produced with the expertise of a colleague production designer. International travel and correspondence from Melbourne to Ireland was facilitated to film key visual elements unique to Ireland’s landscape. With the kind support of commercial organisations and local city councils, locations were secured to produce this film.
